TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN THE OCHRE RECRUITMENT 10th BIRTHDAY TRAVEL PRIZE COMPETITION

 

INFORMATION ON HOW TO ENTER FORMS PART OF THESE CONDITIONS

  1. Entry into the Ochre Recruitment 10th Birthday Travel Prize Competition ("the Competition" constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The promoter of the Competition is Ochre Recruitment Pty Ltd (ACN 117 529 512) of Level 4, 18 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, Tasmania 7000 ("the Promoter").
  3. Competition commences on 1 January 2012 and closes on 30 November 2012 ("Competition Period").
  4. Entry is only open to doctors who are registered with Ochre Recruitment and complete a successful locum placement in Australia or New Zealand through Ochre Recruitment within the Competition Period. Family members or associates of Ochre Recruitment or any other Ochre Health group business are ineligible to enter the Competition.
  5. Doctors will be automatically entered into the Competition once for ever ten (10) days of locum placements completed through Ochre Recruitment in Australia and New Zealand during the Competition Period. For example: if a doctor completes 40 days of locum work through Ochre Recruitment within the Competition Period, the doctor may have four (4) entries into the Competition. A doctor who completes 27 days may enter the Competition twice. Ochre Recruitment reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.
  6. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible.
  7. There will be one winner who will be drawn at random from the entries. The prize is AUD $10,000 inclusive of GST worth of travel credit with Wilson & Turner Travel Associates ABN 25 003 377 188 of Suite 21, Galleria Building, 33 Salamanca Place, Hobart, Tasmania 7000. Licence No: TAS031. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  8. The prize draw will take place at 12:00pm on 5 December 2012 at Ochre Recruitment Pty Ltd, Level 4, 18 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, Tasmania 7000.
  9. The winner will be notified both in writing and by phone within seven (7) days of the date of the draw and the draw result published on www.ochrerecruitment.com. The draw result will also be published in 'The Australian' newspaper within seven (7) days of the draw date.
  10. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after three months of the initial draw, or any prize is unclaimed within three months of the initial draw, the prize will be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at Ochre Recruitment's discretion. If required, a redraw will take place at 12:00pm 5 March 2013 at Ochre Recruitment Pty Ltd, Level 4, 18 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, Tasmania 7000, with the winners notified within seven (7) days of the redraw by mail and phone. Results of the redraw will be published on www.ochrerecruitment.com. If required, the redraw result will also be published in 'The Australian' newspaper within seven (7) days of the redraw date.
  11. Redemption of the prize through Wilson & Turner Travel Associates will be subject to that company's standard terms of business.
  12. Ochre Recruitment will not be responsible for any inability of a prize winner to accept the specified prize.
  13. Ochre Recruitment reserves the right to provide substitute prize(s) of similar value should the specified prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control, subject to regulatory approval.
  14. Entrants accept that if they are the winner they may be required to participate in publicity connected with the Competition and it is a condition of entry that the winner agree to their name and country of residence being publicly available if they win. The winner agrees to participate in any news and media PR activities surrounding the Competition.
  15. Entrants' data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Competition. Ochre Recruitment reserves the right to exchange information and data regarding entrants with Wilson & Turner Travel Associates for the purposes of entry validation and running of the prize draw.
  16. Ochre Recruitment's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in regard to the Competition.
  17. Ochre Recruitment reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Competition and/or review and revise these terms and conditions, subject to regulatory approval, without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the Competition subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
  18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Ochre Recruitment (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, any loss or damage, including loss of opportunity whether direct, indirect, special or consequential arising in any way out of the Competition including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: -
    (a) Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction;
    (b) Any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
    (c) Any entry or prize claimed that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected;
    (d) Any variation in prize value to that stated in the terms and conditions;
    (e) Any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant;
    (f) Use of the prize.
  19. All claims and entries become the property of Ochre Recruitment. By entering the Competition, each entrant is taken to consent to Ochre Recruitment using the entrant's personal information to administer the Competition, announce the winner and disclosing the entrant's personal information to organisations that assist Ochre Recruitment with administering the Competition and announcing the winner.
  20. Ochre Recruitment is bound by the National Privacy Principals and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering the Competition the entrant is taken to consent to Ochre Recruitment's privacy policy. An entrant may access and correct any personal information held by the Promoter upon request to Ochre Recruitment.
