Am I eligible to work as a doctor in New Zealand?

If you’ve graduated from a medical school in the UK or Ireland, then you are eligible to apply for registration in New Zealand! We place UK and Irish graduates at all levels, from Junior Doctors and General Practitioners through to Specialist Consultants. If you are a member or fellow of a UK specialist college and hold the CCST or the CCT, you are also eligible to work as a specialist in New Zealand.

Additionally, if you have worked at least 36 months of the last 48 months in one of the following countries, then you may also be eligible for registration in New Zealand:
