Ochre Recruitment has developed excellent relationships with many hospitals all over Australia and in particular the states of New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia and can offer emergency physicians, registrars and junior doctors the widest choice of positions available. With our experience and knowledge of emergency medicine recruitment in Australia, we’ll work with you directly to find you that perfect role to suit your professional development, lifestyle and family situation.
With Australian Emergency Departments playing a critical role in the medical system, emergency departments are great places for junior doctors to learn about the Australian health care system and acquire knowledge and skills required in the management of airway emergencies, cardiac arrests, shock, trauma and medical emergencies.
We have many positions for senior doctors without a FACEM qualification that are able perform a senior role in the Emergency Department. Some of these non FACEM positions may be in more rural and regional settings. You will have the opportunity to supervise and assist with the training of the junior doctors. In addition, there may be opportunities to perform retrieval work where you’ll recover patients from the scene of accidents to stabilise them before arrival at a hospital or transfer the critically injured patient from a small community hospital to a tertiary centre for advanced management.
