Over the past ten years, Ochre Recruitment has developed an extensive network of relationships with hospitals throughout Australia and New Zealand for placement of radiology jobs.
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is the leading professional organisation for the promotion of the sciences and practice of the medical specialties of Radiology and Medical Imaging (Diagnostic and Interventional and Radiation Oncology) in Australia and New Zealand.
RANZCR is responsible for assessing IMGs to determine whether the education and training and experience undertaken is comparable to an Australia or New Zealand Specialist.
In order to be recognised as a specialist in radiology or radiation oncology by the College in Australia and New Zealand, it is necessary to complete 5 years in radiology training positions accredited by the college.
If assessed as substantially comparable to Australian Trained Specialist an applicant may be required to work under supervision and undertake a peer review assessment in the workplace
Doctors assessed as partially comparable may be required to undertake a period of supervised training and to sit and pass the college part 11 examinations or sit and pass the college part 11 examinations without additional training.
If found a doctor is assessed as not comparable they will be referred back to the AMC and onto another pathway.
Through our networks we can offer radiology jobs from registrar to consultant across a wide range of locations and seniorities. Ochre consultants will work closely with you to find a radiology role that best suits your professional experience, lifestyle and individual needs.
