Dates: Sunday 15 December – Sunday 12 January 2020 

Rates: $2100/day worked 

The Position 
A QLD Hospital is currently seeking a Locum GP / VMO + ED to provide coverage from Sunday 15 December – Sunday 12 January 2020. Working in the GP Clinic Monday to Friday with appointments approximately 15 mins. Clinic is on-site. 
On-call at the Hospital ED – 8 acute beds averaging 30% occupancy. 
7 Aged Care Beds (3 x high care & 4 low care). 
Daily ward round at 8am for acute / Weekly round for aged care. 

The Location 
This location is found in central east Queensland, approximately one hour’s drive from the coastal town of Bowen and has a population of just over 2000. A quaint country town, far enough away from the tourist hubs to be a country retreat, but close enough to retain that same friendly and welcoming attitude of all the Whitsundays locals. 

Essential Criteria 
• FRACGP or VR qualifications preferred 
• Unrestricted full registration with AHPRA
