Locum GP / VMO + ED 

Dates: 
Monday 14 October – Friday 1 November 2019 
(Days off: 26 and 27 October 2019) 

Rate: $1500 per day worked 

The Position 
Locum GP's are required to cover a North East Tasmanian clinic for the above mentioned dates. Working with other GP’s at the Medical Centre Monday to Friday with a Shared On-call at the Hospital ED as per the roster (TBA). 

The Location 
This position is based in the largest township on the East Coast of Tasmania. The town is considered the heart of the North East Coast, and is the gateway to the Bay of Fires and Binalong Bay. Located on the Tasman Highway (around 160km east of Launceston), it is one the fastest growing areas of Tasmania with a population of 2,173 in 2011. It is well known for its clear waters, hospitable climate, world famous national parks and gourmet fresh produce, and is one of Tasmania's most popular tourist destinations. It is an excellent spot for anyone who enjoys fishing, boating, bush-walking or camping, and lends itself to an active lifestyle. 

Essential Criteria 
* FRACGP/FACRRM/ VR Qualifications / Access to A1 Medicare rates via OMPs Program 
* Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
