Locum Required for GP Sessions & Nursing Home Visits 

Dates: 
• ASAP to 31 Oct 2019 
• 2 Dec – 2 Dec 2019 
• 6 Jan – 31 Jan 2020 (OFF 25-27 Jan) 

Rates: $1200/day worked + flights, car & accommodation 

Position: This practice is co-located with the nursing home and seeking an experienced rural VR GP to provide locum coverage for the above dates. Working 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with a 1hr lunch break daily and no after hours or on call work required. The clinic has good nursing and practice support, utilizes best practice software and sees an average of 4 patients each hour. The locum will be required to perform low care rounds each weekday from 0830-0900 and once a week will provide an aged are rounds from 1030-1200. No Emergency work required, patients needing urgent/emergency care are transferred to the Albury-Wodonga Hospital.

The town has easy access to the some of the best waterways in Australia and is close to many renowned wineries. It is well serviced with vibrant and active sporting clubs and tourist facilities to support water activities, fly and Bait fishing, camping and bushwalking in the nearby national parks.. 

Essential: 
• FRACGP/FACRRM or VR Qualification 
• Specialist registration with AHPRA 
• Full Working Rights in Australia 
• Current Advanced Life Support (or equivalent) Certificate
