Locum VR GP - Far North Queensland 

Dates: 30 Dec 2019 – 27 Mar 2020 

Rates: $1500 per day worked. All travel, accommodation and vehicle provided. 

The Position 
Our client is seeking a locum VR GP to provide primary health care in a remote A&TSI health clinic. Working Monday to Friday 0800-1700 with no on call or weekend work. During this locum you will be working alongside another experienced VR GP and a diverse multi-disciplinary team including aboriginal support workers, RNs, midwife, child health nurse & allied health. 

The Location 
Located in North West Queensland you will experiences hot temperatures year round. Enjoy coastal living in this rural community that is best known for prawning and fishing. Enjoy beautiful beaches, an abundance of and marine life and amazing sunrises/sunsets. 

Essential Criteria 
• FRACGP/FACRRM or VR qualifications 
• General or Specialist registration with AHPRA 
• Cultural awareness and prior experience working in remote indigenous communities
