Locum VR GP - NT
Dates: 19 Aug - 6 Sept
Rates: $1200/day + travel & accommodation
The Position
Our client is seeking a GP to provide cover in a community located 270kms southwest of Darwin for the above mentioned dates. Clinic hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. An on call Nurse responds to any call outs and contacts the doctor if advised by the RMP on call from Darwin. You will be working with 1 other GP on site.
The Location
Located around an hour's flight from Darwin, on the mouth of the Fitzmaurice River and close to the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf coast, this region holds a population of around 2700 in the immediate community and outstations.
Essential Criteria
* FRACGP, FACCRM or VR qualifications preferred
* General or Specialist registration with AHPRA
