Locum VR GP – Remote Indigenous Community 

Dates: 30 January - 2 March

Rates: $1500 per day worked plus flights, car & accommodation 

The Position: 
Seeking an experienced and independent VR GP to provide locum coverage in a primary health care facility, co-located with the local hospital. You will be working 0800-1700 Monday to Friday only, with no after hours or on call work required. With nursing and aboriginal health workers in the clinic for support the team utilizes Best Practice software and additional clinical support in head office located in Mt Isa. Ongoing opportunities exist for locums interested in a 3 or 4 week on/off roster during 2020. 

The Location: 
This town is found in the north western corner of Queensland only 150 km from the NT border. It has a population of just over 1,200 people. 

Essential Criteria: 
* Remote AMS experience & cultural awareness essential in this solo GP clinic. 
* FRACGP, FACRRM or VR qualifications preferable
