Locum VR GP Required - Remote Primary Health Care Clinic

Dates: 11 - 29 November 2019

Rates: $1200/day + travel & accommodation

The Position
Our client is seeking a GP to provide cover in a community located 270kms southwest of Darwin for the above mentioned dates. Work is undertaken in a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical and public health services to the residents of the community and surrounding outstations. Clinic hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Location
Located around an hour's flight from Darwin, on the mouth of the Fitzmaurice River and close to the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf coast, this region holds a population of around 2700 in the immediate community and outstations.

Essential Criteria
* FRACGP/FACRRM or VR Qualification
* Specialist registration with AHPRA
* Full Working Rights in Australia
* Current Advanced Life Support (or equivalent) Certificate is always strongly recommended when working in remote locations
